With the benign blessings of all Kanchi Shankaracharyas and Sri Rama, www.kanchimuttayodhya.in was launched by Sri Sankara Vijayendra Shankaracharya Swamigal, the 70th Peetadhipathi of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam on 21st January 2024.
Shri Kanchi Shankaracharya Mutt, Ayodhya was established with the benign blessings of the Shankaracharyas of Kanchi. It is located in Pramodvan near Saryu River.
The mutt has a functioning veda patasala, yagashala, temple complex, tailoring training centre, parayanam hall and a bookstore. It currently has six AC/Non AC rooms and a kitchen to accommodate pilgrims.
The kumbabishekam for the temple was performed on 9 April 2009 by Sri Jayendra Saraswati Swamigal.
Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati Swamigal had stayed in the mutt from 11 October to 2 November 2023 during Sharada Navaratri season and performed Chandramouleeswar Puja inside the temple premises
