Tailoring Center

The Silai Kadai Prasikshan Centre was started on 30 September 2002 by Sri Jayendra Saraswati Shankaracharya Swamigal. The centre teaches tailoring, embroidery and painting.

Over 10,000 students have studied from this centre and have consequently started their own centres as well. Currently there are 20 students in tailoring, 9 in Embroidery and 9 in Painting.

Various types of Petticoat ; Salwar [Shadi, One Piece, Belt Dar, etc] ; Frock (Kali Dar, Gherdar, Step, Frill, Umbrella, Cut, etc) ; Kurta and Blouse [Sada, Step,etc] are taught here.

36 Stitches of Embroidery such as Bharwa, Ulti Bakhiya, Patchwork, Network, Cutwork, etc are also taught here.
