TEMPLE
The temple was built by Siva Sthapathi, son of Subbiah Sthapathi.
The kumbabishekam for the temple was performed on 9 April 2009 by Sri Jayendra Saraswati Swamigal, the 69th Peetadhipathi of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam.
Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati Swamigal (70th Peetadhipathi) had stayed in the mutt from 11 October to 2 November 2023 during the Sharada Navaratri season and performed Chandramouleeswar Puja inside the temple premises
