With benign blessings of Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati Shankaracharya Swamigal, the 70th Peetadhipathi of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, Sri Rama Shadakshari Moola Mantra Homam & Chatur Veda Parayanam was held between 19th June 2024 and 25th June 2024 at Sri Kanchi Shankaracharya Mutt, Ayodhya.

The Parayanam & Homam were performed by Salakshana Vidwan Sri Gopal Ganapatigal. The event started on Anusham Nakshatra & ended on Avittam Nakshatra. A Chaturveda Parayanam was also held at Valmiki Bhavan on 21st June 2024 as part of Sri Nritya Gopal Das' 86th birthday celebrations in the presence of Sri Kamal Nayan Das - successor to Sri Nritya Gopal Das of Ramanandi Sampradaya.

Sri Jayendra Saraswati Shankaracharya Swamigal, the 69th Peetadhipathi of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, had stayed & performed Puja at Valmiki Bhavan during his 1997 visit to Ayodhya.

On the day of Purnahuti (25th June 2024), Sri Kamal Nayan Das had attended the function & blessed the event.

As part of Avittam Nakshatra celebrations, a procession was held on 25th June 2024 on the street where Kanchi Mutt Ayodhya is situated.
